These are photos of a my fathers truck after a wreck he got into about 6 years ago. The good news he's now fine. The bad news is his arm was out the driver window. It was hanging on the hd series towing mirror he self installed when the teenager in a brand new Focus crossed the solid yellow lines into his truck on a back road at 60 mph. It nearly severed his arm and left him with major broken bones. I never liked this truck much compared to some of the cooler vehicles he's owned but cant argue with the fact he racked up 300 thousand plus miles with minimal maintenance and that it did everything it could to take the blow when he needed it the most.

As you can imagine he has become an advocate for keeping limbs inside the vehicle..

Hey, I was in one of those trucks during a head on crash when I was younger... but it had Chevy badges. Durable little buggers, ours was fixed by insurance and is still on the road with over 350k miles.

Buddy of mine rolled one of those and spent some time in the hospital, but he recovered.

WHOA! Impressive.

I am also trying to post a topic to Oppo right now - a philosophical tribute to my Prelude which was totally by someone running a red light at 40 mph. No matter how many times I Publish it, it never shows up on the Oppo page.

I am using a burner account. Personl blog post is the only option it is giving me. Where am I fucking this up?

You have to be granted author status. Every so often they do open invite to add new people or you just gotta keep commenting greyed out till someone with the power likes you enough to add..try searching terms like "can't post to oppo" if any are fresh ask nicely in reply to the post to be added and they will oblige typically. Sorry kinda new to me as well have no idea who added me just one day it worked..

No airbag? Holy cow he was lucky. Glad he made it through what looks like a very harrowing ordeal!

That's crazy, one of my coworkers' brother in law was literally in the same accident just a couple days ago - car ran into a fence and almost severed his arm. I never realized this was a common occurrence.
